I'm wondering why i get this error message while i'm on 4shared.com:
it happens when the folders load. and doesn't matter which browser i use.

I'm also having problems with my modem. Ever since we put the modem and router in the living room, it's been acting wierd. some of the lights on the modem don't light up, and one flashes. the only way to fix it is to unplug and replug in the power cord. sometimes that works, sometimes it doesn't. i think it might be the cable splitter but i'm not sure. i unhooked the digital cable and i've not had a problem all night with it. the main problem is getting my sister to let me put the modem and router back in my room again. didn't have that many problems when it was in my room. she only wants it in the living room because she thinks the wireless computer outside won't work if it's in my room. i think that's a load of crap. :/ my room isn't that far from that computer.
so i'm wondering if there's anything i can do. other than the obvious. she's not the type of person that's easily persuaded.

I'm also wondering if there's a chat software, like Trillian, that doesn't use that much RAM. i'm only interested in using MSN, AIM, and Yahoo.
speaking of which, are there any browsers that are RAM friendly? i'm currently using Opera. and it sucks with session saving. *facepalm*
keep in mind that at the moment i only have 320MB of RAM. :/ sad i know. hopefully i'll get more RAM on my birthday

EDIT: *sigh* i did a scan at crucial and it says i can only have 512 MB total. *sobs* but i did find a 256MB stick to get online, though.
thanks, guys.
